PESPA 2021 Bargaining Highlights
Salary Schedule Increases:
- Year 1: IPD (2%) + 5%
- Longevity @15 yrs (was @16): $1.30
- New longevity @ 20 yrs: $1.50
- ELL and SPED Certificates: $.25/hr
- Advanced Para Certificate: $.50/hr
- ADA pay increased to $60/hr
- Resource moved to Level 3
- Year 2: IPD + 2%
- Year 3: IPD +
- Add step 5 equal to 2% above step 4
Other Improvements:
- Work shift increased by 15 min/day for some job categories
- 10% wage differential when substituting for cert. employee
- New evaluation system
- Additional paid holiday (Juneteenth)
- Increased access to paid Prof. Learning for LPNs
- New de-escalation training on paid time
- Mentorship program committee established
